Shuttle introduces Energy Star Compliant Systems

Shuttle Inc, a leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor systems and components today announced its XPC systems are Energy Star compliant. With Energy Star compliance, Shuttle XPC systems consume 70% less electricity than comparable non-Enery Star compliant systems. When Energy Star compliant XPC systems are inactive it will enter a power saving mode and consume less than 15 watts of power. Business and home users can benefit from the low power usage of Energy Star compliant systems.

Businesses benefit from the power saving features of Energy Star compliant systems by reducing additional air conditioning and maintenance costs that are typically associated with non-Energy Star compliant systems. Home users will benefit from reduced energy costs. Shuttle Energy Star compliant systems can also reduce pollution.

With low power usage, Shuttle Energy Star compliant systems lessen your energy bill and require less energy overall—limiting the amounts of electricity power plants need to produce. Energy Star compliant systems will also scale your processor performance in regards to your work load and required computing power. This leads to lower power consumption while inactive and under everyday use.

In addition to energy star compliance, Shuttle systems are also environmentally friendly. This is done by Shuttle’s green approach to the packaging and design of Shuttle systems. “Shuttle is concerned about the environment and the future sustainability of our planet. We are constantly finding new ways to manufacturer systems using recyclable materials” said Kevin Tu, job position.
