XPC Prima P2 3800 features external Serial Advanced Technology (eSATA). It is an external interface for SATA technologies. It competes with FireWire 400 and Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 to provide fast data transfer speeds for external storage devices.

Intel® P35 Express ChipsetIntel® X38 Express Chipset
The Intel X38 Express Chipset optimizes the memory controller design to obtain the maximum possible performance from the memory subsystem. The redesigned Memory Controller Hub (MCH) architecture significantly increases overall system performance through the optimization of available bandwidth with the new 1333 MHz system bus and reduction of memory access latency with Intel® Fast Memory Access. These technology breakthroughs result in optimized system architecture with built-in intelligence, greatly improving system memory performance. The updated MCH also includes support for Intel 45nm next-generation Intel Core 2 processor family and wider internal data buses that support dual-channel DDR3 memory technology at 1333 MHz.


64 Bit OS - Ahead-of-the-curve
All P2 3800 systems are equipped with Intel’s Enhanced Memory 64 Technology (EM64T). With Intel EM64T users can take the next step in computing evolution by moving to 64-bit. P2 3800 systems can run 64-bit applications and operating systems such as Microsoft’s Windows Vista 64-bit. Intel’s EM64T instructions allow for greater overall system performance in part of a much better efficiency. Existing 32-bit applications and operating systems will function on P2 3800 systems too for a smooth transition process.

The XPC Prima P2 3800 is ready to connect to all your modern digital devices. Cameras, music players, VoIP phones, printers, USB flash drives, and more can all be attached directly thanks to the easy to reach USB 2.0 and FireWire 400 ports at the front of the system. The feature-rich front panel of the P2 3800 is perfectly complemented by an equally rich back panel. With USB 2.0, FireWire 400, and external SATA (eSATA), providing more connections and ease of use over regular ATX systems forced to sit on the floor and become out of reach.
