Shuttle computers leave our manufacturing plant with exceptional power management functions and components already installed. You’ll find our computers equipped with a low power sleep mode that automatically activates if you haven’t touched your computer for an extended period of time. This “sleep mode” reduces your PCs energy consumption.
The power management functions also include the ability to scale your processor performance based on your workload. The lower your needs, the less energy your Shuttle PC will consume.
Recyclable, not restricted materials Beyond the energy required to run the machines, we also take a green approach to the packaging and design of Shuttle PCs. Our small form factor means we use less raw materials in manufacturing. It also mitigates the costs of shipping and packaging materials.
We consider the long-term impacts of energy consumption, both from and economic and an environmental perspective. We also strive to find creative ways to manufacture “green” machines that use recyclable materials instead of restricted materials.
