Experienced in small form factor designs and thermal technology, Shuttle extends the application of its XPC product line to business sectors such as Digital Signage, Point-Of-Sale (POS), Kiosk, Cloud Computing and Access Control. For the LOEM market segment, Shuttle will be announcing several cost-effective ultra-slim notebooks and its next-generation tablet reference design. The ultra-slim notebooks will sport fast-booting, sleek IDs with the most efficient cost structure, and Shuttle’s tablet line-up will deliver cost-effective new designs and form factors. Alongside the new tablets, Shuttle will be introducing the beta version of its EDUPAL platform, a tablet-based e-school bag solution featuring multiple functions designed for use in education.

At the show, Shuttle will be launching new cloud computing products as well as a new brand, OMNINAS, and will be unveiling its first Network-Attached Storage (NAS) product targeting the Home and SOHO market.

Cost-Effective Business Solutions Based on Shuttle Small Form Factor PCs

Digital Signage
Shuttle’s slim and all-in-one series is well-suited as a flexible digital signage media player and backend server system that can be customized to suit the requirements of virtually any project. Shuttle’s slim series PCs – the XH61 – and its new powerful and ultra-slim additions – the XS35V3, XS35GS V3 and XS36V – will be showcased at the show.

POS/Kiosk
Shuttle’s latest line-up of POS hardware solutions for small and medium businesses will be showcased as well. Energy-saving solutions based on the Intel® Atom™ processor platform that features a fanless design ensures a quiet, reliable and aesthetically pleasing solution. The new version of Shuttle’s 15.6-inch all-in-one PC – the X50V3 – and the new 18.5-inch all-in-one PC – X70 – will be showcased as platform for POS solutions as well as kiosk solutions.

Lifestyle XPC and New Networking Devices

Gaming/Media
The full-fledged XPC product line for advanced users and gamers take high-performance to a new level – redefining six-core processing with extreme small form factor performance. From value gaming to mainstream and high-end gaming, the Shuttle XPC SZ77R5 and SX79R5 bring out the performance and stability that can only be dreamed of previously. For home media, Shuttle’s 3-liter XH61 is ideal as a small footprint HTPC.

EDUPAL – A Tablet-Based Solution for Education
Shuttle’s EDUPAL is a turnkey tablet solution that targets the educational market. The EDUPAL allows teachers, students, parents and schools to enjoy interactive learning through Shuttle’s proprietary tablet PC platform, which integrates hardware and software through a cloud-based system. Over the past few years, the company has provided EDUPAL solutions to several city governments in Taiwan and has successfully introduced the new learning environment at elementary schools and junior high schools.

OMNINAS – Your Private Cloud
Cloud computing is entering a new phase of data storage and delivery. Building upon Shuttle’s R&D experience and manufacturing excellence, Shuttle enters the private cloud storage market and targets the Home, SOHO and SMB sectors with the debut of a new NAS product called OMNINAS. OMNINAS KD20, a 2-bay NAS server which supports a maximum storage capacity of 8TB and is cross-platform compatible with personal computers as well as iOS and Android mobile devices.

ODM Ultrabook and Ultra-Slim Notebook Series
Shuttle’s ODM business has been focusing on the LOEM market sector since 2009, and is now introducing its latest product line-up which includes cost-effective Ultrabooks and ultra-slim notebooks. The new ultra-slim notebooks are slim and sexy, fast-booting, and have a long battery life, sharing the same characteristics as Shuttle’s Ultrabook products but at an even more competitive cost structure due to the use of standard hard-disk drives. Also, the new tablet form factors are now available in a variety of sizes and specifications to fulfill the needs of end customers.
